Welcome to La Charrue

La Charrue is situated in the beautiful Perigord Vert in the North Dordogne, along the main route between Angouleme and Perigueux just a short drive from Brantome. 

We are a warm, friendly, family-run campsite, B&B and gite complex with on-site restaurant. Each Sunday you can enjoy a traditional Sunday roast and there are many exciting events planned, from themed evenings to concerts and quiz nights. We offer both catered and self-catered B&B rooms, with swimming pool access (open from May) and mini-golf.
The surrounding countryside is stunning, with picturesque historic towns within a short drive. Brantome, Bourdeilles, Villebois-Lavelette, and of course the large towns of Perigueux and Angouleme are always worth a visit! 

Explore the woodlands, go canoeing on the river Dronne, visit the caves and beautiful castles in the region, or enjoy the superb regional gastronomy.
